<- Batten down the hatches, old-time forum members: this is a sign of things to come. You'll be doing us a huge favour if you can steel yourselves to be nice to people with this kind of question.
I actually hurt myself when I facepalmed after reading that question. It was loud, too. Though now that I think of it, it might actually be a troll question, no?
It might be a good idea to rework the FAQ page, so that the first question reads "Can I run X application on the Raspberry Pi?", and the answer is somewhere around the lines of "If it only runs on Windows (like most games), no. The Raspberry Pi cannot run Windows or WINE, and therefore any Windows-only software will not run on it. If it runs on Linux, it might run if the application was compiled to run on ARM CPUs: check with the developers to know if it will run on the Pi."
I'll make sure I'll refer people to the FAQ page when I see questions about the Pi, like I have been doing in the past.
Interesting to see just how much media coverage the Pi has been having since the launch. I'm guessing as soon as the first batch starts reaching the hands of users/reviewers it will probably explode. Nice!
By the way, does anyone have an "I liked Raspberry Pi before it was cool" logo?
