Re: News articles and blog posts about Raspberry Pi
If anyone is interested I have just published part three of my blog posts on the raspberry pi. I think my server can hold up now famous last words.
this one is about the Alpha board at makerfaire ny

[what I thought was going to be one or two posts looks like it's slowly turning into something proustian or maybe just war and peace]

A bit slow to load, but better than here occasionally….
It'd only be proustian if you expressed yourself in one sentence only. And there's not nearly enough navel-gazing!
Edit: there and their??? *eg* and perhaps it was a little proustian after all.....

the only reason it has punctuation is that I roll a dice to see where to place the commas and fullstops. I have never met a punctuation mark I can't/won't abuse and I got a grade U on my english lang exams as I still am not quite sure what the differences between an adverb, adjective, verb and nouns are. imagine the fun helping the kid with his english homework at elementary school

Datamation: http://www.datamation.com/data.....ing-1.html
The author's following misconception has already been noted in the article's comments:
The more expensive CuBox will be the more likely candidate for developers looking to get their hands on a low cost PC than the Raspberry PI. Why is this? Because the Raspberry PI is (mostly) going to be offered to non-profit organizations while the CuBox will be available on a first come first served basis.

Gareth Halfacree does a great piece with some interview with Eben for BitTech - I am slightly biased here because they're very nice about me in it.

Re: News articles and blog posts about Raspberry Pi
Raspberry Pi got another spot on Hack a day:
Raspberry Pi runs XBMC; reliably decodes 1080p
Reading through the comments makes me think that /. and HaD share some of the same userbase. >_>

That the foundation, far from being charitable, are actually a cut-throat group of glove-thieves.

We don't even have children! (And if we did, I'd be guaranteed to be the sort of bad mother whose kids' fingers are like little blocks of ice. I would use them to stir my drinks.)

I mentioned this to Liz, but not sure if posted here (... there's just so much RP news, I haven't found it yet anyway!)
Just to let you know that I gave Raspberry Pi a mention in a recent blog post (regarding UK education) .... http://blog.atos.net/uk/2012/0.....-on-again/

Really interesting, but gets it a bit wrong on sales; you don't have to make any extra donations in order to buy a Raspberry Pi.
