Hi,
I want to connect a usb device that requires a lot of power from th RPi, like a 3g modem.
Is it ok to plug a USB Y cable for it (like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/PCD-USB-Y-Cable ... 3375f9eab5)?
-> one male plug to a wall ac adapter
-> one male plug to the RPi
-> one female plug to the 3g modem
I don't know anything about eletronics. So, can the AC adapter send a high current to the RPi and burn it ?
