Over on this page
http://www.raspberrypi.org/?pa.....#038;t=2.5
(Towards the bottom of the page) Liz mentions the possibility of a logo contest and all I've been able to think of is different fun slogans. :)

Get some Pi in your life
Got Pi?
Get ? Pi!
I Heart Pi!
Pi, its for everyone
What could you do with a piece of Pi?

abishur: well apart from the typo in the thread title :) . good idea to have move all the slogan ideas to their own thread.

i now need to put my thinking cap on and remember to keep the ideas PG-13 :)

HA! I tell you that dyslexic bit of me made me have to take calculus twice!

I have to admit, aside from language I'd find it hard to imagine even a PG-13 slogan involving r-pi. Not that I'm challenging anyone to try and make one :P

How about:
Raspberry Pi, blowing a raspberry at the prices of modern computers.

Or perhaps:
Getting a small computer is as easy as (Raspberry) Pi.

A rolling Raspberry Pi gathers no cost.

Raspberry Pi, just like mom used to make.

Don't break your back and your pocket book to buy a new computer, have a slice of Raspberry Pi.

Raspberry Pi, cheap enough to throw in the face of poverty.

Thanks AmyS3.

I have some more:

Raspberry Pi, the kittens without mittens are sure missing out.

Raspberry Pi, so many homophones, so many uses.

Raspberry Pi, a computer for $5^2.

Raspberry Pi, smaller than a slice of pie, sweeter than raspberries.

Raspberry Pi, all the flavor with none of the crust of big computers.

Pi*R squared

You're right that does impose a problem, forget geometry, we're going to have to make that formula make sense.

2pi * r = C = The speed of light

Ok, well aside from the formulas, I came up with another solgan:
Raspberry Pi, because products should be _less_ expensive when they're named after fruit.

Congrats on your first post Mandosa.
So in a similar vein to your solgan:

Raspberry Pi, the taste you can't see. (Ok, maybe that's an exaggeration)

Raspberry Pi, from concentrate, just add water.
Raspberry Pi, the only time when you wish your slice was smaller.

I'm going for the Math-based pun:

Ok, I'll stop.
