So is http://raspbian.raspberrypi.org/ down? I cannot connect to it, cannot ping it, DNS resolves it, but the lights are on and no one is home, apparently?

Thank you, I just installed a PiHole on another device and I thought it killed my ability to update, it was driving me a little crazy.

Looking at that maintinance announcement it doesn't seem hugely relavent

1. It was only announced as "at risk", not an actual outage window.
2. The server that hosts raspbian.raspberrypi.org is in London not Cambridge.

I guess it's possible that the work in Cambridge triggered a routing glitch somewhere else in Mythics network or one of their upstreams, it's also possible that the connection failures were caused by something completely unrelated.
