Should my PI 4 board have rough edges?

Hi,

All the pictures show nice smooth edges, but my new 8GB PI 4 has rough edges (e.g. along the edge near the GPIO pins) like it's been snapped off of a bigger board and not cleaned up. Even seemed to have a few strands of fibreglass which I pulled off.

Is that normal?

Quick answer - yes (there are old threads referring to this). IIRC Pi boards are built/populated/assembled/tested in blocks of (at least) 6, maybe 9 or 12 - there's an old (ancient) blog w.r.t to B+(?) production I think.
