raspvid at 60fps has a small field of view.

Hello

Why, when running the raspivid -w 640 -h 480 -fps 40 command, the field of view obtained by the camera Pi v2 is larger than that obtained by the same command, however with 60fps?

Is it possible to get the same field of view at 60fps and 640X480 with a camerapi v2.1 and a raspberrypi4?

thanks

No. See https://picamera.readthedocs.io/en/late ... nsor-modes
In order to get the higher frame rates you have to drop the number of pixels that are read off the sensor. The bandwidth between the sensor and Pi is limited (up to 2Gbit/s, but still limited), and likewise the pixel conversion rate on the sensor has limits.
