pi4 game streaming, steamlink, parsec

Hey folks

I got a little extra time on my hands and I like to stream to my TV sometimes. I bought a pi4 thinking it'd work well but unfortunately they don't. Steamlink is a great proof of concept on the pi4, but overall the current performance isn't good enough. It hitches, drops the sound out every minuts or so, and it's not just me with that problem.

Parsec does run on my pi2's, and it runs fantastically unbelievably well, like, if you haven't tried it you should. My only problem is I don't want to have to keep 2 platforms here, and I have buyers for my pi2s atm. Parsec devs say they are waiting for some files from official rpi sources to be able to do their pi4 version properly. Can anyone confirm what those files area?

So at the least I'd like to be able to follow this issue and have a feel for whether I'll be incurring pain for months or years here if I get rid of my pi2's to upgrade to more pi4s.

thanks for any insights

(I don't have nvidia gpu's, so no moonlight for me)

I'm in the market for a Raspberry Pi to use with Parsec as the parsec program seems to run much more efficiently than Steam Link. I would rather purchase a Pi 4 than a Pi 3B+, please someone respond to this thread.
