Power Board Module + Extension Board

Fri Feb 14, 2020 3:58 am

I bought a Raspberry Pi project kit call "Freenove RFID Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi 4 B 3 B+, 423 Pages Detailed Tutorials, Python C Java, 204 Items, 53 Projects, Learn Electronics and Programming, Solderless Breadboard" from amazon. In the Kit there is a power board.

I was curious if you can attach BOTH the Power board module (which is powered by a 9 volt battery) or cord and the GPIO Extension Board attached to the Raspberry Pi 4B GPIO pins at the same time?

Why din't you ask your seller or the manufacturer for support. At least you should provide some link to the products page ...

A bit of research led me to https://git.io/fjVYW which gives a PDF tutorial. Pages 47 & 48 give the details you need.

So, if you can physically connect both power board and GPIO extension board to your breadboard, then yes.
But they don't show a picture of that happening. Not very clever of them, in my opinion.

Edit:
Page 146 gives an example of how to do just that.
