New to raspberry pi. Need touchscreen programming help!

Hi all,

New to raspberry pi but looking to set up a clinic check in touch screen display interface consisting of: appointment type (read and display by rfid card reader/ encoded rfid cards by appt type), doctor/nurse status room status (touch pad button to advance status and clear) and timer display from appt start to finish. Using:

- Raspberry Pi 7" Touch Screen Display

- Raspberry SC15184 Pi 4 Model B 2019 Quad Core 64 Bit WiFi Bluetooth (2GB)

- Amerryllis Ultra Thin Compact Size 13.56MHz USB RFID Contactless Proximity Sensor Smart Non-Contact IC Card Reader

Any help and/or guidance in how to best go about this project would be greatly appreciated!
