Mine came yesterday (Croatia), #1010244192, ordered it on 05/02/2013.

I sent an email to RS the day before yesterday about order status since I never got email update that it was sent and they wrote back that it was sent on Feb 20th, invoice on the package says 19th.

I ordered mine on the 11th Feb. At that time they were estimating a 3 week dispatch. (1010247258) It arrived today (Ireland). I didn't get any dispatch email. Shows a UK dispatch address.

The board says 'mad in china' - I thought they were manufactured in Wales?

9 days now and no response from RS on my refund
request other than automated responses.

This really is a joke now.

Why does RS sell the Raspberry Pi for Rs.2950($55approx.) in India. The Pi is made in China why don't you directly ship it to India.

AIUI* the manufacture of Pis is currently being commisioned by four different organisations.

The raspberry Pi foundation are having model As made at the sony plant in wales.
Farnell are having green model Bs made for the worldwide market, mostly at the sony plant in wales (but I think they may still be making some in china)
RS are having green model Bs made in china for the worldwide market
Egoman are having red model Bs made in china for the china/taiwan/hong kong/macau markets only.

* This information is peiced together from various news articles, I DO NOT have any insider information on this.

I just received my Raspberry Pi (B-Model). (Germany)

Ordered: 14th February
Received: 1st March
Invoice Date: 22th February

Order number: 10102481XX

I didn't get a despatch email too. But I'm satisfied with RS though.
It was well packaged (and was even delivered in a pink storage box with a notch for a SD card) and the products (I ordered a clear case too) are looking new and unused, not like some others described here. Works like a charm!

Thank you.

I cut a few holes in the pink storage box and it is functioning as a quite adequate case for the pi

My RPi arrived yesterday, roughly 5 weeks from when I ordered it. Once Allied got it, they shipped it very quickly. Apparently production can't keep up with demand.

I'll be working on a LAMPi server this weekend.

Happy!

My Raspberry Pi order number 1010247420 arrived in Sweden yesterday. It was ordered on February 12 and dispatched on February 22. I never received any dispatch mail.
Dispatch was within the timeframe stated at purchase (three weeks).

but I didn't found my order in int.rsdelivers.com and I ordered once again in february18th, with RS On-line Ref. No.2152

Is sad to know that they continue to sell on their site, while those who bought sees messages that are "POA".

Order 10102493XX
Order date: 17. 2. 2013
Invoice date: 25. 2. 2013
Delivery date: 4. 3. 2013
Location: Slovakia
Nicely packaged, they sent me an e-mail(25.2.) saying that they're struggling with my address(no street name here...), I replied to them later that evening, so I guess they figured it out themselves  .
P.S.: Putting RPi in RS cases is scary. Putting it out(never tried that) looks even more scary. :? It doesn't move, though.
P.S.2: Expected despatch was 3 weeks at the time.

Ok, one more update, after my previous post with the order details a refund turned up in my account, (I never even asked for a refund!) but would like to thank whoever finally made something happen,

So 8 months later I'm back where I started :(

To Australian owners, how did you source yours?

cheers,
Dave

First post here and unfortunately it's not a good one,

Ordered mine (and paid for) on 29th June 2012 (yes in 12 days time that is bang on half a year ago)

I've sent RS an email the week before christmas (no reply) and sending another one tonight. Seriously pissed off to be honest, especially since it seems other people are getting december orders now.

Just wanted to bitch and moan a bit, I'm in Australia so realise things might take a little longer, but seriously I could have walked to the UK by now. Hurry the F up

Could somebody help me please, otherwise I am going to open a PayPal-Case.

Kind Regards

Oh Dear having read this I am rather concerned about my order after experience so far.

Ordered mine yesterday through RS
Never got order confirmation email, but luckily I wrote it down.
Tried calling RS, they said need to go direct to [email protected]
So sent an email to them, got an auto response saying 3 days (absolute rubbish)

So now I do not know if I have a real order
If it will ever arrive

and Why I bothered when they are avilable on ebay !!!

Anyone at RS or Raspberry care to comment please

OK MAde a decision.

Cancelled order with RS (Lets see how long for the refund) and bought on ebay (new and cheaper too when you add up the VAT and postage.

I ended up cancelling mine and ordering from (AusPi Technologies) www.buyraspberrypi.com.au. They are a bit more expensive, but they do answer emails in a timely manner and it did actually turn up in a few days.

Unfortunately, RS took so long to answer the email that it is being sent anyway. 20 days and still waiting for it to arrive. I still can't understand how a courier company can so far take 2 weeks longer than standard postage would. And as usual, all of the accessories for the second RPi which were ordered after RS sent it, have all turned up and are waiting to be attached.

My r pi arrived just a few moments ago.
I ordered at late afternoon of 18.02.2013 from Germany- reference number is: 1010249736. Despatch was expected in 2 week(s). So all seems to be fine.
Unfortunately I put a wrong housenumber in the online form. Shame on me. When I realised that few days ago, I tried to cancel the order. Cancellation wasn´t possible, because order had been taken for dispatch.
So far, so good.
I waited for the notification advice email from RS or the courier advising the shipment and perhaps the tracking-id. There was no email notification by the courier- that is bad.
Shipment was from Germany- Bad Hersfeld, delivery by gls.The address label shows the Track-ID, so it would have been better if there had been an notification as said in the order confirmation.
The missing notification advising the shippment is often reported here in the forum.
In my case it was my mistake, thanks to my nice neighbour several houses away, the parcel didn´t have to be returned to sender.

Order 1010237678
Order date: 22/1/2013
Invoice date: 13/2/2013
Delivery date: 11/3/2013
Location: Australia

Eventually turned up. The reason there was no tracking number for the courier, as the order confirmation said it would be sent, is because it wasn't sent by courier. It looks like it was sent by "Deutsche Post"
Don't think I will ever bother purchasing from RS ever again, this whole process has just been a joke.

Love the Pi, dislike RS. To pay for shipping of the kind that some customers have been describing above... not good.

The "$35 computer" costs rather more when we've added £4.95 for delivery, which is quite a lot for a gadget that's cheaper, smaller and lighter than a lot of the electronic gadgets that would get free delivery if it were stocked at Amazon. (And why isn't that an option?) RS and Farnell may need to be dragged into the 21st century...

[email protected] last visited 3/12/13. He has not posted since 12/20/12, yet everyone just keeps piling stuff in here. RS might be checking in, but Allied has never bothered to answer a single question, in these forums, as far as I have seen. Yet people keep ordering!
