My RPi arrived yesterday, roughly 5 weeks from when I ordered it. Once Allied got it, they shipped it very quickly. Apparently production can't keep up with demand.sonomadiver wrote:sonomadiver wrote:Update: I ordered my RPi from Allied on 21 January. First post here and unfortunately it's not a good one,
Ordered mine (and paid for) on 29th June 2012 (yes in 12 days time that is bang on half a year ago)
I've sent RS an email the week before christmas (no reply) and sending another one tonight. Seriously pissed off to be honest, especially since it seems other people are getting december orders now.
Just wanted to bitch and moan a bit, I'm in Australia so realise things might take a little longer, but seriously I could have walked to the UK by now. Hurry the F up
I ended up cancelling mine and ordering from (AusPi Technologies) www.buyraspberrypi.com.au. They are a bit more expensive, but they do answer emails in a timely manner and it did actually turn up in a few days.daavvee wrote: To Australian owners, how did you source yours?
