Which revision did I receive?

I finally received my Model B revision 2 today, at least I hope so. After opening the box, I immediately looked for the blue 3,5mm jack. The one mounted on my board however was black. After cursing for a few seconds -like most of you, I waited a really long time to get my hands on one of these- I noticed the mounting holes on the board and the '100' label next to the LED for the ethernet port. Both the mounting holes and the updated label should mean this is a revision 2 with 512 mb RAM, no? It's the colour of the 3,5mm jack that makes me wonder. I would like to know if someone could clarify this, before I pry open my existing setup.

multiple factories different colored jacks forget which is which or if anyone defined which comes from where. Mine are blue ordered from newark you do have a 512 ultimately its the 4g listed in the text on the memory chip that ultimately defines the amount of ram though.

RS and Farnell ship with different coloured headphone sockets just because it's black doesn't necessarily mean it's not 512MB you've probably ordered a PI from RS??
The product number written on the Samsung memory chip (as shown in the link by the previous poster) is the only reliable method of identification.

As far as I know Farnell are shipping UK ones (Blue Jack) and RS are shipping China ones (BlackJack)

It may also be helpful to learn how to determine the date of manufacture.

It's usually a four digit number on either on the top or bottom of the board. It reads: YYWW. So my model B for example was manufactured in the 37th week of 2012, 1237.
