Trouble Downloading

I've been trying to download various items from the download page. What I'd really like is the biggest, fullest package as a zip but I've tried most of the other options. I'm trying to download them to a Mac, I leave it on and wander off(e.g. overnight )and get less than 10% of the file each time. I googled around and found advice to try 'wget -c' but wget says I've got the wrong cpu (perhaps it's not ready for Catalina??). Torrent downloaded just 26Kb overnight. I would expect there would be mirrors to choose between but I don't find that. Internet speed test here says I can download 235 Mbps so I don't think it's on my end.

Something does seem to be up with the download server. I just tried it on on a very high speed connection and managed to only pull down around 1706 KB in 5 minutes. Perhaps some emails to RPT are in order.

I tried a download of the largest image (full Raspbian with all the suggested software) and arrived in around 15 minutes on my slow connection.

I'm still stymied. To do a reality test I started a download of the Jetson Nano SD card image In less than 10 minutes it has downloaded several GB.

And now Jetson Nano is complete 5.49 GB in less than 20 minutes. Closer to 15.

I restarted my mac and now the download has come quickly. No idea why this one download was slow and another was at more normal speed. Anyway it's resolved
