I just booted my pi 3 b+ and found that the ip address is no longer one that is being issued by my routers dhcp. My router would issue it with 193.168.0.xx. However now it has 658.467.127.275 for some reason. Can anyone help me to solve the readon for this and how i can fix it.
There seem to be several things here that are difficult to believe before breakfast.
Principally that IPv4 address is a 32-bit number that uniquely identifies a network interface on a machine. An IPv4 address is typically written in decimal digits, formatted as four 8-bit fields that are separated by periods. Each 8-bit field represents a byte of the IPv4 address.
So 658.467.127.275 cannot be an IPv4 address, since three of the fields exceed the permitted value.
