Is anything from "troubles" deleted?

Tue Jul 30, 2019 5:51 pm

If I buy some product, what guarantee I have that my question about support will be answered and not deleted like last 3 posts elsewhere?

None.

There's no guarantee that people will know the answer.

On here, posts only get deleted when they contravene the posting standards, not because they might have silly questions.

There are no AIs controlling this BB. It is just humans, all volunteers including those that work for Raspberry Pi.

Mostly the posting standards are:

Be nice.

Don't post the same thing twice.

Don't reply to a very old post unless your reply is really relevant.

Don't "hijack" someone else's thread with your own (similar, but not the same) issues, please start a new one.

Don't post anything that may refer to or encourage anything that may be illegal.

Don't argue with the Mods.

Remember that this forum is family friendly. Keep it clean.

Be nice. (Yeah, I already said that, but it is important!)

All moderation is done by humans. As an addendum to the link above, keep vaguely on topic, no religion, no tin foil hatting, and just keep on the right side of the moderators who have the final say in everything.

Define spamming yet - two post fast after each other? Something else?

Problems are best here or to TROUBLES?

For someone apparently hesitating to post on this forum you seem to do that a lot...
Perhaps you can come to the point? Or to a close.

I have no idea what question you are asking with this thread.

Spamming is defined by the moderator looking at the post. Most is pretty obvious, some is a bit sneaky. We get a lot - I have to delete/ban probably 10 a day - and that's the ones that get through the spam filter. Other mods probably see similar levels.

Two posts in quick succession is fine, as long as they are not simply duplicates of each other, or spammy.
