+1 for Pi-oneers

It's a good name for those who choose to embark on their journey of learning with the Raspberry Pi.

My suggestion would have been "Pions" in a tenuous reference of size to power ratio of the Pi.

Lucky the Raspberry Pi Foundation isn't based in Cornwall, we'd all have to be Piskeys

On a slightly different tack, There has been mention here of Raspberry Pi "Shields" - add-on/extension boards, such as the gertboard - a name i believe is borrowed from the Arduino community.

As these are most likely to be fitted on top of the 'Pi, I did wonder if our generic name for them shouldn't be "crusts"? Much more organic

Perhaps those who are trying to expand the limits of the Raspberry Pi should consider themselves to be Raspi Blowers.

9+4 = lucky for some

Glad to see someone's on the same wavelength...
I was thinking idly yesterday about RPi expansion boards and Arduino shields; the two names that came to mind were "crusts" and "toppings".
I look forward to seeing a rash of them being developed by the community once those
RPIs are widely available

... and a nice cross-reference to Python too!

The answer was 2.  Now, what was the question?
