I am waiting to receive my new rpi4 of 2Gb requested to a provider that at the time of the order did not have the official USB-C EU plug Power Supply. One day later I found the official USB-C Power Supply in another provider and have already arrived and being bored to the wait for my rpi4 I have put some tests to the PSU and these are the results ...
You can reach a maximum of 3.35A before shutting down.
The source is completely silent in charge and at idle and you can see a product of very good quality.

Re: Testing official USB-C Power Supply rpi4.
Have to say this is great news as the older power supply has been rock solid for me and sorted out a few quirks with the 3B+ boxes that I had.
When I get around to getting a 4 then ill make sure the power supply is ordered as well.
Thanks for testing it and posting the results here.

@RPIgoodSBC would you mind if I created a graphical form of your "imaged data" and added it to my sets of data for various PSU's here:

(With a "thank you" link back to this thread of course)?

Thank you. I'm in the process of adding P4B & Buster stuff to my webpages so it may be a day or so before it appears but I'll post a direct link here when it's there.RPIgoodSBC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 12:44 pmYes, no problem. The image is free to all.FTrevorGowen wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 12:41 pm@RPIgoodSBC would you mind if I created a graphical form of your "imaged data" and added it to my sets of data for various PSU's here:
