Thankyou

Fri Jun 28, 2019 11:56 am

In 2012, I bought a raspberry pi with a view of tinkering, and teaching my son to code.
I remember that I posted that I set my son, who was around 15, a challenge. He wanted to go to a party, and I told him he could go if he could get a raspberry pi to email the request, using only python.

He went to the party.

Anyways I thought I would update that last year he took it a bit further, and graduated with a first class degree in computer science (and I’m pretty sure he went to plenty of parties).

Just wanted to say thanks to this community. Without this community, and the raspberry pi, I doubt he would have embarked on that journey.

So, quite simply, thank you
