Easier, cheaper solution: Just take a hammer to the RPi and then apply the $35 to $55 fix. Forget buying the new CPU/glue as it will come "for free" with the fix cream.Andyroo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 12:37 pmActually its quite simple!
Take 1 Pi
Take 1 chisel
Get new processor
Get glue (two part epoxy)
Put chisel to Pi processor and push
Take new processor
Apply glue to processor
Apply hardener to Pi (love a crisp crust)
Stick processor on Pi
To get it working - use the $35 - $55 fix cream...
Not the best first post on this forum (and yes I know I may get a warning / ban for this post but honestly - really these aren't socketed boards as two seconds research would show).
