Writing a learning software on Raspberry Pi

Mon May 20, 2019 3:48 am

Hi friends,
I am gonna start writing a learning program for driving on Raspberry Pi.
which software do you suggest I choose?
Is Python ok?
I do data science with Python.
But is it ok to write a learning simulation program for kids with Python on Pi?
thank you.

How can we know? Only you know the requirements of your proposed application.

If you are talking about a driving simulator, 3D graphics and all that, lots of external events coming in and asynchronous stuff going on, I would think about using webgl in the browser and code it all in Javascript. Perhaps with some help from a back end server communicating real-time data over web sockets.

Or perhaps use the unity game engine from C++.

The gaming would not be in Pi but other computer but I need to control; turn off and on other more powerful computer with Pi in some phases.
If you have any idea please let me know.
