iptables rule

Sat Apr 06, 2019 6:16 pm

Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.
[email protected]:/home/soydepr# iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 3000 -j ACCEPT
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name.

what's wrong with this trying to expose port 3000

Does it work better with
iptables -A INPUT -p TCP -dport 3000 -j ACCEPT
since you need to add the chain before you can insert extra items into it.
