Hello,

I'm trying to capture still images & video from an USB webcam (QuickCam Pro for Notebooks) with the raspberry pi model B (512MB)
I tried with streamer and mplayer. With streamer, some times I get a correct snapshot, but only the few times. With mplayer I get a green blinking video with the capture showing wrong colors (a lot of red/blue). Streamer also drops shots of this nature after one or two good captures.

I would appreciate any clue about this issue

Problem fixed. For some reason I dont know, some webcam programs reset the webcam's properties (saturation, brightness, gain and so) I stablished those values using v4l2ctrl and now all is fine, although the framerate is horrible, I suppose its due the USB bandwidth/power supply/rasp cpu limit. but I cant get more than 5 fps
