Instead of using a single IR emitter as a blaster, I'd like to use individual stick-on emitters - and I'd like to be able to address them individually so that if I'm sending the TV a command, I only send it to the emitter that's stuck on the TV. Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how to go about it? Not sure if LIRC can be configured to output to more than one GPIO pin. Maybe I could take the output from LIRC and use/write an intermediary program that looks at [?destination?payload?] and routes it to the correct GPIO pin? Or maybe I just need to run multiple instances of LIRC - one per IR output? Any LIRC experts around? If nobody can answer this but somebody knows of a better place to ask, please let me know. Thanks!
