Some Spanish websites say you sold Raspis before having them.

I have always understood that you haven't and will not sell them until you have them produced. Am I right?
Now, I am afraid of not getting one from this first coming batch...

You are right, they are wrong! There are no pre-orders , none have been sold apart from the ten on eBay.

By the way, I don't see any ON button in the picture, and I don't see either a OFF button...

If memory serves, it is on when it has power, off when power is disconnected.

There aren't any. It would be be pointless as the stand-by power consumption of the board is less than the loss in the PSU, which would be required to be powered for these buttons to work. Want to save energy? Cut the mains.

Re: Websites tellng that Raspis have been sold in advanced
I don't read Spanish, but the reference to €2.000 suggests to me that they were reporting on the 10 beta boards that were auctioned on eBay (and went for lots of money).
No-one knows for sure what will happen when they start selling, but it does seem reasonably likely that some people will miss out on the first batch. But really, is that the end of the world? It just means that the next batch will be ready to go all the sooner. People have managed thus far without a RPi in their life, I'm sure we'll get by for a few weeks more.
I will be trying to buy one of the first batch, and I will be disappointed if I miss out, but it won't stop me getting one.

If you think life is unfair, read these hilarious tweets from spoilt kids who didn't get an Ipad/Ipod/Iwhatever for Crimbo.

Tried that; found the result marginally less readable than the original! I guess we"re still at the vodka and rotten meat stage yet.

Interestingly, the photo on the Spanish web site is not one of a RaspBerry Pi, even though it is some sort of Broadcom board.

Sorry. Did a bit more research and it looks like an old Pi alpha board.
