I own 2 RPi (v1 model), I am using one of them as server 24H/24 since many months running Raspbian, it was all running fine. There is no auto-reboot schedule on it, no overclocking, just standard Raspbian + my own server stuff.
But since 1 month I start getting trouble, it suddenly stop responding and I have no access to it via SSH (it is not connected to any screen nor keyboard so SSH is the only way for me to access it).
Power off / power on and it start back to work for several days without any problem then start again to fail power off / power on...
Yesterday it crash again, I try the power off / power on trick but it doesn't restart. Only power led light on and nothing more.
So I remove the SD card insert it into the other RPi and start it (same SD card, same power supply, same ethernet cable, same power usb hub connected) and the spare one start without any problem.
Today I create a brand new SD card for the failing one, I have some trouble with network and then it fall into work. I leave it running to have the CPU "hot".
So my questions are:
- Do you know if it exist some kind of stress test tool that I can run on Raspbian to stress my RPi to check if the problem that I have can came from a RPi which is running "too hot"?
- Does anybody already experience this kind of trouble with RPi running 24H/24?
