NexImage USB3 camera

Thu Oct 18, 2018 6:46 pm

I was wondering if anyone has had a luck getting a NexImage USB3 camera to work with a raspberry pi. I've been building a web based telescope remote application and integrating a usb2 camera has been no problem but integrating the nexImage camera has not gone well. I done seem to be able to even recognize the camera. Anyone have any thoughts?

Well if the camera needs USB3 to work and Raspberry Pis only have USB2.0 then that is my thought.

My standard procedure for testing USB device compability is:
* Boot Pi with no USB devices connected. ( keyboard/mouse of course if needed )
* Open a terminal/console window.
* Then insert the device.
* Then run the commands "dmesg" and "lsusb" and post the last 15 lines of the output of "dmesg" and all the output of "lsusb" here in the forum.
