I have a raspbery PI B+ connected to a PiJuice HAT (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14803) that I want to build a case for. Does anyone have experience using both that can attest to the amount of heat that would be created? My current plan is to just monitor the temps at a few points around the case and to set up some PWM fans, in addition to buying a heat-sink for the PI.
Also, in all my google searches for PWM fan raspberry PI tutorials, i've never heard it suggested to just buy a PWM fan. Why would I buy a custom-PCB with FETs to power fans when I can just buy a 4 pin PWM fan like the following?:
