recommendations for USB-DAC?

Thu Apr 19, 2018 1:20 pm

hello all,
I'm looking for a USB audio interface to attach to my RBP3, preferably the size of a USB-Stick but with min. 24bit and 96kHz quality.
Does anyone have experience with this, and maybe knows a product that works well with RBP -maybe even without external driver..
thank you all in advance,
:D

Something like this? :

Not USB, rather GPIO, connected, but probably all the better for that.

And here's a review:

hello mooblie thank you for the reply. these look great however unfortunately my gpios are already being occupied -- thats why i would rather use a usb connected interface.

You can use an i2c dac with an usb to i2c converter.
Something like this
usb to i2c
https://store.ncd.io/product/usb-to-i2c ... t-ft230xs/
and a i2c DAC
