Bidirectional data transfer between pi and mongdb

I am a beginner. I would like to establish bidirectional data transfer between pi which runs on python code and mongo database which is in cloud. Please guide me how to achieve it. Also let me know the syntaxes and commands for sending and receiving data via python code on pi to mongo db which is in cloud with some address. . Kindly provide any links for the same.
