pi powered robot

Sat Mar 24, 2018 12:39 am

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a 2WD motor battery combo which they know is fast and powerful. Any size up to 12V battery would work. I keep buying batteries and motors trying to get a good combo. Here is what I have so far.

the speed v's power thing is something engineers everywhere have been stuggling with for decades,

usually it depends on what type of robot that you are building eg.. a sumo bot requires high torque(power) and speed isnt needed, where as a maze solving robot is usually faster with low torque(power),

its all a balance between motor speed and torque combined with gear raitios and wheel diameter

piborg do some nice robot setups https://www.piborg.org/
