When you ask about the Hub, did you just want to use it as a hub or also as a power source?

I do not see your Hub on the list of verified peripherals, it should work as a hub, but who knows. These are the hubs that will work for sure:

I am not good with knowing mini-A vs. mini-B stuff, but you might need to also get the right kind of cable with microB to plug this in to the power port on your Pi, if you want it to power the Pi.

Also, it says it will only power devices at 500mA the Pi requires 700mA.

it will probably work but there are plenty of others that are cheaper that will work

i dont need to plug the power from my pi into the usb hub just usb things into the powered usb hub. thanks for link
