"U5" in raspberry pi3 model B

Wed Feb 14, 2018 10:40 am

Hello,
I can not find the datasheet of some chips on raspberry pi3 model B.
these chips are "U5", "U8", "U10", "U13", "U17", "U20".
I could not find them in raspberry pi3 model B schematic.
Could you please guide me to find their datasheet?
and could you please tell me why these chips there are not in raspberry pi3 model B schematic?

"U5"= "GS7BA" https://pasteboard.co/H7AuAJi.jpg
"U8"="53Z" https://pasteboard.co/H7AuXX6.jpg
"U10"="GW6tA" https://pasteboard.co/H7Av8A0.jpg
"U13"="BK7DA" https://pasteboard.co/H7AvsrN.jpg
"U17"="n Y" https://pasteboard.co/H7AvPaq.jpg
"U20"="XTAB GFB" https://pasteboard.co/H7AvZSy.jpg

Thanks

The schematic is not complete. Only the parts affecting the connections that might be made to the board are published.

The Pi hardware is not open source. The partial schematic and the board itself are the only public information to identifiy the parts.

It doesn't matter to me, but if you want information from "those who know" you may have to say why you want to know, and if they consider that you have a real need to know, you may have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

U13 is an AP2553, controlling the 5v to the USB ports. It first appeared on the B+
U10 first appeared on the B+, and could be a linear regulator for the analogue audio driver U11
U17 first appeared on the 2B v1.1, together with the separate memory chip on the other side of the board, just beneath
U20 first appeared on the 3B, together with the WiFi / BT combo, so it's possibly the I2C GPIO expander?
U8 is something to do with the HDMI CEC or I2C

Perhaps you could use a meter to find what they're connected to, and google for possible candidates?
Then let us know your findings!

Thanks for your guidance.
I have tried to do metering.
U13 based on metering is correct. It's AP2553.
U11 is a UHS Dual buffer. about U10 up to now nothing. just two pins of U10 have connection with VCC and Gnd of U11.
If I found some info about other ICs I will write here.
Thanks
