PiClock help

Fri Feb 02, 2018 3:02 am

I just put this on a pi2. when it starts, it is full screen. no access to the toolbar. Is there a way to get this to run so that I can see the tool bar.

There is nothing in the documentation that provides an option to turn-off the fullscreen, but it should be possible by modifying the source code.

It looks like you need to edit the file PiClock/PyQtPiClock.py
Near the end of the file is a line:

Code: Select all

w.showFullScreen()
remove that line by commenting it out (put a # at the beginning) and it should now run in normal windowed mode when you start up.

You may need to adjust the screen height and position so that it doesn't overlap with the toolbar.
