Config Raspberry by Debian

Wed Jan 03, 2018 8:48 am

Good morning, I've installed, by NOOBS, Raspbian and all features of Raspberry doesn't work, neither shutdown, reboot or logout commands. So I've downloaded Raspbian and played with VMware and all commands work properly. Someone can help me to understand why, or has some solution?

Sorry, it's not clear what your actual problem is.

You say "I've downloaded Raspbian .... all commands work properly."

So what is the problem?

It's not clear to me why you are mentioning Debian and vmware here.

I would never use NOOBS. It seems to cause more problems than it solves, judging by the questions that turn up here all the time.

Just download and install Raspbian to your Pi and all will be fine.

If not, come back and state the problem exactly.

Raspbian does not run in VM as Raspbian requires ARMHF architecture.

Regards Raspbian Stretch with Desktop just download the .zip

https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspbian/

Then use Etcher to create from the .zip a bootable SD Card:

It would be polite to tell us what your problem actually was and how you resolved it exactly.
