Its the best 3k I ever spent. Right from day one I have been tinkering with it. I installed different OSes...got a nice cabinet for it...

Now raspberry pi is official in india, buy from official sellers only as they are cheaper then amazon/flipkart/snapdeal/AliExpress/PaytmMall etc. these guys don't give warranty as well and are expensive too. AliExpress might seem cheapest but it's saving you only 100-150 Rs and they also don't provide any warranty and Bil/Invoice. As of this writin there are 3 official reseller in india: thingbits, silverline electronics and module143, you can verify this by clicking the buy button and then selecting the pi model. All other sellers are fake or just some startups which have been popping up a lot these days(you don't need any permission to sell the raspberry pi). Youtube, quora and reddit is also full of promotional bullshit by these people.
Note: Warranty of Raspberry Pi doesn't works the way your household electronic's warranty works, the contract of warranty is with the seller whom you have bought the pi, you CANNOT directly claim warranty by contacting RS Components India OR element14 India. As of this writing there are only 3 official resellers of the raspberry pi which i have mentioned above. don't fall for aliexpress for saving just 100-150 Rs, and when you buy additionals such as case and PSU , the total bill becomes same to that of aliexpress with a minor 10-20 Rs difference.
