I made my order two days ago with, aparently, no notifications from them since I discovered two emails, purchase confirmation and shipping confirmation, this morning labeled as spam.
I can confirm this. My shipping notification was in the Gmail spam box as well
It's possible my order confirmation has met a similar fate as I didn't receive that one either. But I probably didn't notice it when clearing my spam folder at that time.

Shipped on 08/10/2012. It should be somewhere in Belgium right now so I'm expecting it tomorrow or Friday :)

I ordered via RS on the 30 Sept and the shipping date was expected to be in about 9 weeks.

I saw this thread, ordered on Monday, it was shipped on Monday and actually arrived a day earlier than I thought it would and so is currently siting at the post office waiting for me to collect it!

Fantastic service - well done New IT!

Just a quick post to say "wow"... This is my second Pi (but my first Rev2), I bought it from their eBay shop on Tuesday night and it arrived here on Thursday morning.

INCREDIBLE service, fully recommended, thanks guys :)

Alas, shipping to East Asia (Taiwan) is £35. Otherwise seems an excellent service. Guess I need to go back to my abacus....

It just arrived home!
Less than a week (4 business days) overseas shipping (Spain). Quick and very efective service. Thanks, guys! ;)

P.S.: I'm going to try to think in the new RP instead of in the new 512 MB memory upgrade I've missed

The next batch of units is due in to us on 16th October, if they arrive sooner we will post here. We have a good quantity coming in, so there will be no maximums per customer. :D
Hi NewIT,

Just wondering,
Will this batch have the memory upgrade?

So, now every PI shipped by you guys is going to be 512mb ram version? Or do you still have to get rid of 256 mb ram first?

If you read the whole thread, you will see that they received 300 units of 256MB two weeks ago and that they were sold out within 8-9days.
So, they shouldn't have any 256MB left, unless someone changed his mind and returned it.

But it stands "512MB" on the website so I don't think they'd sent you a 256 instead :)

It is 512Mb all the way, we do have a couple of 256Mb boards, but they are what we are using ourselves :)
Another delivery coming into us tomorrow, and yes they are 512Mb boards as well :D

I ordered one from NewIt last Tuesday and it arrived on Friday, so 4 days overseas shipping while I could trace the package. Great service.

Only 'complaint' is of course I missed the 512MB version by a hair, although it doesn't make any difference for the use I'm going to make of it :D . Works great.

Another happy customer here. Ordered Monday, delivery attempted Tuesday (I'd only popped out for 10 mins :( ), actually delivered Wednesday :D

I ordered the "Bundle 2" with the wireless keyboard & mouse & 16GB card and am extremely impressed with everything.

Glad to see NewIT stocking these. I bought a sheevaplug from them a couple of years ago - very friendly and professional bunch of chaps.

I was wondering about them as the sheevaplug is now pretty much dead (despite being slightly more powerful than the pi) due to its fairly high price, and NewIT seemingly werent prepared (or able) to stock the likes of the beagleboard and other dev boards.

One good thing about NewIT is that with the sheevaplug they provided a number of their own addons such as pre-configured SD cards. Hopefully they will do the same for the Pi.

Hi all,

One question,

I'm about to buy a RPI Pack at NewIt shop.

If I order a >> 4 Port USB 2.0 Hub + 5V 1A Power Adapter <<, will it come with a EU Power Adapter instead of a UK one ?

Thanks a lot in advance.
