I see the problem.
They have one guy writing out everyone's address on the envelope with a marker pen.

Apparently the actual reason for the delay from RS is that his marker pen ran out of ink, and he had to just through quite a few hoops to get another pen from the purchasing department, who felt that he was being profligate with his cursive script.

Just received notification that my RS order (June 22, 99K order number) was dispatched today. I had never received any communication from RS until two weeks after I sent an email halfway through September, where they promised my order would be shipped last week. Let's hope the postman manages to find my home :-)

I you receive your Pi's, please check the resistance of poyfuse F3, underneath the board.
I got mine today, resistance is near 1 Ohm, much to high. This causes to much voltage drop.
Have a look at http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 29&t=19033
Please post your values.
Thanks in advance!

I ordered June 22, 2012 - Order #98xxx.
Now 14 weeks after I ordered I have to wait another 3 weeks for a total of 17 weeks.

I was going to wait until I received this board to maybe order more but I differently will not order another Raspberry Pi until I can order them from a company that will deliver in a timely manner.

This is my delivery update email.
Good luck for those still waiting.

Okay, Okay, figured that once I posted a complaint some karmic influence would apply to my pending order shaking it from stasis. Just got a shipping e-mail from RS. Expected to take 5 weeks for outside of Europe.

Will probably buy another online from another source before this one arrives for the following reasons:

1. I really wanted 2 to begin with, and did not want to be greedy initially
2. and the USPO may crush the flimsy packaging this one appears to be shipping in

Id like to say the USPO, first I assume you mean USPS, they are the top quality shipper in the USA hands down.

I have been shipping for business for over 5+ years, fragile items, and electronics.

I was just "browned" by UPS this week

RS and Allied are obviously not reading these threads at all, just posting. I have asked several times, in this thread and others, for an update from Allied. There have been no E-mails at all from Allied as to any further delays, after their notice about 12 weeks. They are sending junk E-mails, but no more information.

It would be nice if the U.S. customers had some information too.

It is now 13 weeks since I ordered. It has been 12 weeks since Allied's last informational E-mail.

Can we please have a time table for U.S. deliveries from Allied?
