How would I turn Alexa software off from the cmd line?

Sun May 28, 2017 7:56 pm

Got Alexa-avs-sample-app up and running on my Pi3, but I want to be able to turn it on and off through Home-assistant. I made a script to get it turned on, so that's good to go, but I need a command line call that will close the three moving parts which are:

Code: Select all

cd ~/Desktop/alexa-avs-sample-app/samples
cd companionService && npm start

cd ~/Desktop/alexa-avs-sample-app/samples
cd javaclient && mvn exec:exec

cd ~/Desktop/alexa-avs-sample-app/samples
cd wakeWordAgent/src && ./wakeWordAgent -e kitt_ai
I can kill the wakeword portion by using

Code: Select all

pfkill -f wakeWordAgent
but I was having trouble recognizing the other two in the process list. That and since one is a javaclient I don't want it to mess with anything else (DuckDNSupdater)

Is there any way to identify the processes and shut them down via the command line? Thanks for the help.
