Hardware troubleshoot help needed [old RPi2]

Tue Mar 14, 2017 6:11 am

I've got an old RPi2 and one day it refused to boot properly. Actually couple of months before this happened, I mentioned that RPi stops services every couple of days. I never checked logs, why this was happening (btw, what log-file should I check on reasons of kernel panic or sudden stop of all services?), I just powercycled it and this solved the problem. And after one of these hard reboots, It refused to boot at all. I usually run it headless, so I connected display and power it on, nothing happened, silence on the display. When I apply power, PWR-led goes on and nothing more. I tried to write a fresh version of raspbian (in case of corrupted OS or memory card), but this didn't solve the problem either.
Can anyone help in this situation? I need to be sure that it's totally dead to purchase a new one.

PS: I bought it in March'13 and I think that it was on run nearly 2 years, 1 of which it ran in very hard conditions - LA was 5-8 or something. But I never used any overclocking or something. Just for statistics.
