Raspberry PI screen flicker
I'm a bit new to raspberry things, so I'm not entirely sure what to do here. I have RetroPie installed and running on a 5 inch car monitor. I can start up the pi with the screen working only if I unplug it a tiny bit. (http://imgur.com/66seOJw) When RetroPie starts up it's normal, all the menus work as well as the game lists. However when I select a game, it flickers nonstop. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lPatsHetwA) Can someone help me stop the flickering? And if i have to access a system file, can you tell me how to do that as well? Thanks for helping!

Wrong wiring on the av cable. There are a huge variety of wirings for trrs jacks carrying audio and video. Pulling it out connects a different set of rings. https://www.adafruit.com/product/2881 is the correct wiring.
At a guess you've managed to connect between the video out and an audio out, so once any audio starts to play the video signal is rubbish.
