crontab MAILTO=

Tue Sep 11, 2012 2:14 am

I edited the user pi crontab and added MAILTO=pwhbeck@gmail.com
but I do not get mail when my cron jobs run.
Am I missing a required service?
Thanks,
Peter

Do you need to install a mail server? Not sure if there's one installed by default.

install postfix and configure it as standalone or as a relay to send emails.
