Can't access files when I connect my Motorola RAZR I

Wed Nov 23, 2016 1:02 pm

Hi can anyone help me please?

When I connect my RAZR phone to my RPi 3 I can only see a folder called device manager which houses only windows .exe files etc.

I've been to www.android.com but am going round in circles!? does any one know if there is a RPi version of these files or if there is another solution?

Thanks for any help or guidance!

Do you mean a RAZR flip phone or something newer that uses that name? If you are talking about the older pre-ridiculous "smart" phone nonsense, back when the keys had a tactile feel so you didn't have to look at them, back when you could answer your phone with one hand by just snapping it open with your thumb like a dexterous Captain Kirk, before people were running into trees trying to text while driving, those phones use a special program to access them. I haven't done this in a while so I'm not recalling exactly what it is called.

In Ubuntu 14.04 I see there is a p2kmoto that I can't get to install but under the pi's R. jessie lite, it isn't even claiming to be there. I see links supposedly to this in source and to something that uses this with fuse but I've not used anything like this since I was forced to give up having a *phone* for a stupid "smartphone". Could you nail down exactly what sort of RAZR you are trying to use?
