I need the latest wheezy image.

Sun Nov 13, 2016 4:18 pm

I want to install something but the set up appears to be only good for wheezy and I have the latest version of Jessie.

I looked at a "wheezy repsitory" but I don't savvy ftp --so no joy.

Can anyone tel;l me where I can find a good wheezy image that I can just download as a *.zip file? I can take it from there.

Thanks.

******** FYI *****

I later found that adafruit is selling SD cards loaded with wheezy for 9 bucks.

Wheezy will not work in a RPi 3B or ZERO, unless it is updated in an earlier model first, plus Wheezy has had no security updates for over a year:

Therefore you will be better served by informing why you can not run whatever you want to run in Jessie !
Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...

There is a nightly image of wheezy that will run on the newer Pis although I 'can't remember the url off hand.

However as everyone else has stated you really should be looking to use Jessie as Wheezy has little or no ongoing support. There should be little reason that you can't use Jessie for a project so I'd look to see what the issues with Jessie are and fix them rather than trying to use wheezy.
