Forum subscriptions

Hello, I'd like to ask 2 questions:

- where can I see my own threads/posts?
- how can I auto-subscribe to my own threads automatically?

UIn User Control Panel, Board Preferences, switch the "Board Style" to Prosilver. You get "View your posts" in the top toolbar, and "Subscribe topic" at the bottom of any post you view (sorry, that is not automatic -- AFAIK that facility is not available -- but one click ain't bad :? ).

Ugh, I thought it is normal to automatically receive notifications for own threads.

You should get automatic email notifications of replies to your posts and if you reply to any post then you are automatically subscribed to that thread. Check this setting:
In User control panel select [Board preferences] then click [Edit posting defaults] Make sure [Notify me on reply by default] is selected - Yes.

Note that you will only get one email notification until you visit the thread again.

For show your posts- If respite theme, click on your username to get to [user control panel], then click [Overview] and [Front page] tabs if not already selected, then click on [show your posts]
As mentioned prosilver theme has a link to your posts at the top of the page.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

Not unless you set it that way. If you reply to a lot of threads, it can end up notifying you of older threads that get solved and dug back up, causing you to think that there is something new, when it is just stuff stated in the past.

The easiest part to check posts is right below the header "phpBB", where the Board Index is. You see in the third sub-header where it states "User Control Panel"? Just click on "View Your Posts." search.php?search_id=egosearch It allows you to not have to go in and delete subscriptions that you no longer want to follow, along with not telling you something is new when there is not.
Ren: Now listen, Cadet. I've got a job for you. See this button? Ren: Don't touch it! It's the History Eraser button, you fool! Stimpy: So what'll happen? Ren: That's just it. We don't know. Maybe something bad, maybe something good.
