Bruce Shapiro and Brian Schmalz certainly inspired me. It was one of my first applications of my first Pi to apply it to an EggBot, as posted on this forum way-back. Bruce's work is genuinely artistic rather than mechanistic- a quantum leap on from turtle-graphics ( which I've had a lot of fun with)
