How's availabilities outside the UK now

Fri Aug 31, 2012 11:48 pm

I've asked this question and similar a few times, how well are Raspberry Pi's Selling outside the uk?

Us lucky brits got the best connection to the main sites on launch day and when there was so much hype we all got our orders in. But like all items much of the hype in the press and slowed down and sales are opening up in the US.

I can see from things such as the Raspberry Pi Map tracker and my youtube channel the most of the interest is from our tiny little island and I wonder is this because the are still quite hard to source in the US or because the hype has mostly gone (and us keen people are what remains)?

See who's watching

I would say in the UK you have had ample free advertising about the Raspi, but here in California I have yet to see a Raspberrypi in the mainstream media. (In IT type media I do but not in general)

The main difference is that the Raspi is going into your schools and that is not going to be the case here in the USA(I believe we have the same problems in IT but no one is actively trying to solve it to my knowledge)
If you are more worried about ,spelling, punctuation or grammar you have probably already missed the point so please just move on.
