Wine only runs on Intel x86 processors. The Pi is an ARM processor.

Stop shouting about crap that doesn't work on an ARM6, ARM7 or ARM8 based Raspberry Pi.

If you really have to run X86 programs on an RPi3 then your best choice is to pay £19.95 for Exagear Desktop for RPi3. https://eltechs.com/slides/exagear-desk ... erry-pi-3/

WINE will never be included in Raspbian, because it doesn't provide anything useful. They even tell you in the name that WINE is not an emulator.

This question comes up every other day.

Perhaps x86 Windows apps can be made to work under Wine on ARM. Or at least a few of them.

It's not a supported configuration.

It probably takes more effort to get working than the usual requester of this feature is going to put in.

Performance will no doubt suck.

What kind of wine would you like? Ripple or Thunderbird perhaps?

It's called thinking. Why don't you try it sometime?

Perhaps better asking why?

If it's to run a specific x86 program then performance will suck big time (emulation), If however you need to perform a specific task then I'm sure Raspian will have an available tool available (and likely free).

So rebooting, why do you need wine?
