If the $55 is used for the video transmitter and the mini camera there won't be anything left for the Quad Copter so it's going to be a grounded camera. ;)

I think the camera is several months away still at the very least. I pre-ordered my Gertboard last night along with some soldering supplies and SMD breakout boards.

DFN10 packages aren't the easiest thing for a hobbyist to work with. :P (I'm working on a substitute for the polyfuses using a single chip, stay tuned. I'll post it in hardware somewhere once I get it working)

Oh no, we don't expect that it's all of his money. It was intended together with his remaining savings. Good investment, isn't it!? 8-)
