ls /htmlfolder | midori

Fri Aug 24, 2012 7:49 pm

I have a folder with html files, my friend told me I can use pipe to pass the output of one command to another.
ls should list all the html filename and then pass them to midori.
so it should be the same as

Code: Select all

web1.html web2.html web3.html

Code: Select all

ls /htmlfolder | midori
should equal to

Code: Select all

midori web1.html web2.html web3.html
but it doesn't! how can I fix that?

Just execute ls before the command by setting some chars like this

midori `ls /htmlfolder`

They tilt to left.
