Mineserver.be on RPI

Thu Aug 23, 2012 5:17 am

I have setup the mineserver.be server,

I was wondering how do I make the server globally available and not just local. Same goes for SSH, how would I make it global, do I need to install a VPN package?

You need to set up port forwarding on your router and you need to know your router's IP address. Then either point people to the IP address or get a domain name and point the domain name to the IP address.

You could also use a dynamic IP service. I have setup no-ip on my Pi to provide access to a webserver and it works a dream, see http://stuffaboutcode.blogspot.co.uk/20 ... using.html
